You can still max out your bonecharm carrying capacity in the Black Markets, but you can't upgrade Dexterity or Reflexes or anything that needs runes. You will still get upgrades from shops and you can find bone charms, though you cannot break bone charms and make new ones. Sniping is your friend, hand to hand combat can get out of hand really fast and the gun is not very useful except for bloodfly nests. I suggest using Corvo due to the fact that he gets a very good upgrade to the crossbow, after completing the optional task for the Black Market Shopkeeper in mission 5, that allows him to split his bolts and thus save ammunition. This is my no powers guide, I'm keeping is straightforward and skipping a lot of treasure opportunities.
